My mother, Katharina Brow, was robbed and brutally murdered in her home in Ayer, Massachusetts on May 21, 1980. In May 1983, Kenneth Waters was arrested and convicted of first degree murder and armed robbery. In March 2001, Betty Anne Waters helped to free her brother based on existing DNA evidence as portrayed in the movie Conviction released in October 2010. Food For Thought - A swatch of blood was found and tested doesn't mean Waters is innocent.

Hey – good blog, simply trying round some blogs, seems a fairly good platform You Are using. I’m presently using Drupal for a number of of my sites however looking to change one in all them over to a platform very much the same to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you'd advocate about it?
I understand the reaction, but at the same time I think Mr. Waters also deserve to be heard and he was found innocent so what about his family suffering. the movie is about him not who died.
This is an interesting article - the only thing i can find detailing other evidence in the case - even in the movie - which i believe is one sided and manipulates the facts a bit - i found the scene where Waters is very reluctant to have his DNA sample taken and his statement that it will come back "positive" very telling... http://www.tauntongazette.com/lifestyle/x407383032/Wendy-Murphy-Swank-film-Conviction-leaves-out-the-truth
All I can say is actors are one of a kind. She needed to stay in character so perhaps she was afraid meeting you would change her. Don't take it personally. I'll bet the person who did this to your mother has been incarcerated for something else by now or dead. I know it doesn't make it better. I'm sorry this had to happen to you and your family.
if the police hadnt spent time framing an innocent man perhaps the real killer would be in jail by now for this murder.
