My mother, Katharina Brow, was robbed and brutally murdered in her home in Ayer, Massachusetts on May 21, 1980. In May 1983, Kenneth Waters was arrested and convicted of first degree murder and armed robbery. In March 2001, Betty Anne Waters helped to free her brother based on existing DNA evidence as portrayed in the movie Conviction released in October 2010. Food For Thought - A swatch of blood was found and tested doesn't mean Waters is innocent.

This is hard. Many people are murdered, too many people. It's a tragedy for any family. It's also a tragedy when someone spends time in a prison and did nothing while the real murderer is free.it's injustice all the way around. This movie wasn't about your mom. But I think I would have met with you anyway. I would love to see a film about your beautiful mother. Perhaps a documentary. I'm so sorry.
Just saw the movie. A real tragedy for so many involved. How many innocent people are in prison? It is sad to think about how the police sometimes lie and cheat in order to get a conviction. You could not give Kenny enough money to compensate for all the time he spent in prison. Great movie.
